A few days ago, AQSIQ and the National Standards Committee approved the issuance of the National Standard for "Methods for the Safety of Optical Radiation for Semiconductor Lighting Equipment and Systems". The standard is based on the light environment constructed by lighting equipment and systems, and it is aimed at the actual use of lighting environments. In this case, the safety classification, measurement and evaluation methods of the light radiation in the field lighting environment are proposed.

However, due to the inconsistency and disharmony of human biological characteristics, such as the harm of blue light, modern lighting sources such as LED pose a new threat to human health. The visual health of lighting products has gradually become the focus of current people’s attention.
The introduction of this standard provides a design basis for the design of lighting environment, provides a test basis for the on-site measurement and evaluation of the safety of light radiation in the lighting environment, provides data basis for the acceptance and rectification of lighting projects, and uses the lighting safely for users.
